Texas 2006 - The Eco-Friendly Tailgate

Another fall weekend ... another tailgate. Texas vs. Ohio State in Austin. For OSU Fans ... Payback time!!!!

Austin, Tx ... Longhorn country

Breakfast of Champions

Our secret weapon .... we are unstoppable when Li Lian is at the game.

According to Brian, here is Li Lian's credentials so far ...

"4 years ago she didn't even know how to spell football (serious)

Now she can name a few key players (on the OSU team only so don't try to quiz her too hard)

Li Lian has never attended an OSU loss
She has been to an OSU win over UofM in Columbus
Li Lian has been to an OSU win over UofM in Ann Arbor
She has travelled to Austin to but scalped tickets to this game to see OSU win over #2 Longhorns
She has traveled to the Fiesta Bowl to cheer the Bucks to a National Championship against Miami that had not lost a game in 2.5 years"

Now there's some props !!!!!!

Kristin was brining support from afar. Nice Buckeyes nails. Maybe they'll catch on in Texas.

Pre-game OSU rally ... Go Bucks!!

Two-time Heisman winner Archie. Never far from a Buckeyes game.

Woody is alive and living in a trailer park in Austin

Frank Erwin never looked better. I knew he was a closet Bucks fan!!!

Michigan Fan at a Texas game? Man, there is one in every crowd.

Vidal was a walking tailgate. We called him "Mr. Beer Pockets". Only guy I know that can carry a 12 pack in his shorts.

Scalped 6 row upper deck tickets. Not so bad. Price .... very bad.

At the game. Again, not a lot of Scarlet and Gray.

The godzilla"commercial 'o"tron. Less commercial watching the game from home.

Bevo.
Script Ohio in Texas stadium. Way cool!!!

The good guys win!!!

Matthew McConnaughey sneaking off after the loss. Bye-bye.

After game tailgating with the Texas Ex's from Fort Worth. I think the 12 Hours of drinking helped their spirits.

It really helped these guys.

Actual photo of how the tower looked at 5:00am in the morning. It was a bit blurry. Off to Kerbey Lane to finish the night with some queso and eggs.

These were plastered all over our hours when we got home. Looks like I'll need to plot payback time for the neighbors as well.
